Historically, wind provided the energy for sailing ships which were fundamental to our world economy. Over the last one hundred and fifty years, wind powered ships have been replaced by fuel burning ships.
Recently, a small number of organizations and companies have been working to move the transportation economy back to wind power. Some of this work involves designing and building new wind powered ships for the modern economy.
We are proud to be a part of this movement. But instead of a singular focus on creating new, wind powered ship designs, our interest, in adition to caring for the cremated remains of our passengers, is in historic preservation.
At Continuing Voyage, we are moving into a leadership position in the growing movement to harness the wind for modern navigation.
We all share planet Earth - it's in everyone’s interest that we work to protect the Earth and our environment.
How wonderful it is, that one of the answers to environmental protection and sustainability, is the rediscovery of wind powered technologies of the past.
Continuing Voyage offers a beautiful and unique alternative to the disposal of our loved ones. Insted, we chose to celebrate life and the lives of our departed pasengers. We do it in style and in a green and sustainable way.
Join us in this grand opportunity to be part of an earth friendly movement, while simultaneously bringing the beauty of sailing ship back to life.
We are humbled and proud to be one of a small number of endeavors, leading a trend back to renewables.
In this instance, what is good is also beautiful.
